Job summary

BrightStar Care Karing Hent, Inc. is seeking an early shift Home Health Aide to provide in-home care for clients, including personal care, transferring, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship in a 1:1 setting.

Morning shifts from 6 AM to 7 AM are available, with opportunities for advancement. You will join a team that values compassionate care and reliable, everyday support for clients at home.

Qualifications

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting).
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

We are seeking early shift caregivers to join our team at Brightstar! This position includes working with clients 1 on 1 in their homes providing assistance with daily actives such as personal cares, transferring, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship. If you are seeking a morning position this may be a great fit for you, we have shifts available starting from 6AM- 7AM!

• Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.
