Job summary

Vibrant LLC in Anamosa, IA seeks a compassionate Direct Support Professional to help clients stay independent at home, including the elderly or clients with intellectual or physical disabilities.

You will provide care in the home, assist with daily tasks, accompany clients to community activities, and support goals through coaching, social interaction and engaging activities.

We offer paid training, flexible schedules, and regular performance reviews to recognize your work.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver\'s license.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have car insurance.

This job requires caring for others who need help staying or gaining independence AT THEIR OWN HOME including the elderly or clients with intellectual or physical disabilities of all ages.

Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Caregiver Essential Job Functions (differ based on client needs):

• Housekeeping/Cleaning & laundry
• Meal preparation & cooking
• Grocery shopping for or with the client
• Transportation & errands
• Personal cares and bathing
• Companionship
• Visit places in the community/socialize
• Engage in activities (games, memory books)
• Assist with goals such as, but not limited to social and behavior functioning, coping skills, self-advocacy, confidence building, relationship building, safe boundaries, etc. by Coaching, discussing, roleplaying, teaching etc.
