Full Life Care is seeking a Homecare Specialist to support Beacon Hill clients in Seattle, WA. The role involves coordinating care, supervising aides, and ensuring smooth communication among clients and supervisors.

The position pays an hourly rate of $25.10 and is represented by SEIU Local 775. The candidate will help with non-medical tasks, maintain confidentiality, and participate in team meetings while meeting state-mandated training requirements.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is highly preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience.
  • Completion of all required state-mandated training and certifications.
  • Proficiency (written/verbal) in English language.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Availability to be reached and respond quickly to client emergencies.
  • Experience with Hoyer lifts and completion of Nurse Delegation and Nurse Delegation for Diabetes training highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide non-medical care tasks to clients as outlined in their care plans.
  • Guide and actively assist Homecare Aides with client needs, including personal care, bathing, toileting, dressing, transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
  • Facilitate and maintain communication between the client, their Homecare Aide, and the Homecare Supervisor when necessary.
  • Communicate client changes to Homecare Supervisors promptly and effectively.
  • Serve as an on-site problem-solver for Homecare Aides and clients.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss client concerns and program updates.
  • Assist with clerical tasks such as payroll entry, filing, orientations, processing applications, and contacting clients and aides as needed.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of homecare training procedures and tools.
  • Think critically in the field and seek direction from Homecare Supervisors as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information.
