Job summary

A Place At Home, Kirkland seeks compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors, including companionship, bathing, meals, and transportation. Training is provided and full-time hours are available in the Eastside community.

Ideal candidates have CNA or HCA certification, at least 1 year caregiving experience, and reliable transportation. We value empathy, reliability, strong communication, and the ability to work independently to support client wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Compassionate nature and empathetic care in all interactions (≤140 chars)
• Caregiving experience of at least 1 year.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs.
• Background in caregiving preferred but not required.
• Reliable, patient, and dependable.
• Basic nutrition knowledge for meal planning beneficial.
• CNA or HCA certification required.
• Background check is required.
• Physically capable of performing caregiving duties.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation with clients.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
• Provide transportation for errands, appointments, and activities.
• Help maintain a safe and positive home environment.
