Job summary

Legacy Home Care is seeking an In-Home Care Aide to support clients in Montgomery, KY with personal care and companionship during home visits. This part-time role offers scheduling flexibility and growth within a family-owned home care network.

Responsibilities include driving to clients' homes, building rapport, assisting with bathing and daily activities, and maintaining safety and dignity in the home. Travel up to 35 miles may be required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid documentation to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Willing to travel up to 35 miles from home to clients' homes.
• 1+ year of caregiving experience (CNA certification is a plus!).
• Minimum availability of 10 hours per week, including 1 weekend shift per month.
• Ability to pass a multiple-choice caregiving knowledge quiz.

Responsibilities

• Drive to clients' homes and spend at least 2 hours with each client.
• Build strong rapport with older adult clients through regular visits.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and daily living activities.
• Help maintain household cleanliness and provide hands-on care like transfers and therapeutic exercises.
