Job summary

Home or Away LLC is seeking a dependable Personal Care Aide to provide hands-on support for clients in their Oak Grove area homes. You will help with daily living activities, mobility, meals, and safety while delivering compassionate, one-on-one care.

You will work closely with clients and families as part of the daily care team, observing health changes and documenting care activities. CPR/First Aid and HIPAA privacy adherence are required before start.

Qualifications

• Background in home care, assisted living, or memory care preferred.
• Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy standards.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required (must be obtained before start).

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Actively observe and report changes in client condition or wellness.
• Prepare meals based on dietary needs and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe living space.
• Provide safe transportation to medical appointments and errands.
• Assist with transfers and repositioning for safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate records of care activities and observations.
