Job summary

Home or Away LLC is seeking a dependable Personal Care Aide to support clients in their own homes, ensuring safety, comfort and dignity during daily activities. You will work one-on-one with clients and families as a vital part of the care team.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, health observation, meal prep, light housekeeping and documenting care activities. Prior experience in home care is preferred; CPR/First Aid certifications are required before start date.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care, assisted living, or memory care environments preferred.
• Excellent communication with clients, families and supervisors.
• Ability to safely assist with mobility and daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and safe mobility (ADLs).
• Observe and report changes in client condition or wellness.
• Prepare meals per dietary requirements and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe living space.
• Provide safe transportation to appointments and errands.
• Document care activities and client observations clearly and accurately.
