Job summary

Home Or Away is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide hands-on support for clients in their own homes. You will work one-on-one with clients and families as part of the daily care team, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignified treatment.

The role covers assisting with daily living activities, health advocacy, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments, with weekly pay options and flexible scheduling feedback. Training and community impact are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in home care preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• HIPAA/privacy knowledge.
• Physical ability to assist with transfers.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living support (bathing, dressing, grooming) and safe mobility.
• Actively observe and report changes in client condition or wellness.
• Prepare meals per dietary requirements and assist feeding as needed.
• Manage light housekeeping to maintain a safe living space.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and errands.
• Ensure safe transfers and repositioning for client comfort.
• Maintain accurate, detailed records of care activities and observations.
