Job summary

Caretenders, part of LHC Group and a member of the Optum family, is hiring a Home Health Aide or CNA to deliver in-home personal care and designated health services to maintain patients’ physical and emotional well-being.

You will provide daily living assistance, observe patient status, and report findings to the agency. Indiana requires Aide Registry standing; CPR is preferred and home care experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation required.
• IN: In good standing on the state aide registry.
• CPR certification preferred or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• May provide or assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing and personal care.
• Reports observations of the client's condition to the agency director or accounts manager.
• Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and uses seat belts when traveling for work.
• Assists with household tasks essential to clients' personal care.
• Function in diverse home settings regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
