Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking experienced Behavioral Therapists for in-home ABA sessions with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement goals under BCBA supervision, 1:1 in clients' homes, to improve social, language, and cognitive skills using ABA techniques. Prior childcare experience and RBT certification are valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year relevant & professional experience.
• Current hands-on CPR certification - CPR must be a physical class (BLS American Heart Association)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray as applicable per state and/or client requirement
• Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals via strong communication skills; proficiency in English may be required
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Follows the instructions of the BCBA/Program Supervisor
• Provides behavior assistance/interventions to assigned clients
• Work with clients, families, and communities to implement client treatment plan
• Complete and document session per policies and procedures
• Attend and participate for any in-service training
• Uphold & follow the ethical standards of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
• Playtime is learning time; having fun is expected as well
