Job summary

Konnections Staffing is seeking a Behavior Technician (Paraprofessional) for San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita, CA. This role offers full-time and part-time shifts with 24/7 service coverage and includes an $800 sign-on bonus for evening and weekend shifts.

The position provides in-home respite with behavioral supports, under a certified Behavior Analyst, to reduce challenging behavior and build daily living skills. Join a mission to support families and individuals in the community.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and 30 hours of competency-based training; six months of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, an Associate's Degree in a related discipline plus six months of experience with developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of regional center and DDS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home, non-medical respite with behavioral supports.
• Implement behavior support plans created by a Behavior Analyst.
• Record data and maintain daily logs and progress notes.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and the supervising analyst.
• Participate in supervision, planning, and coordination with other providers.
• Use approved non-violent crisis strategies and verify service delivery via EVV.
• Maintain consumer records in compliance with HIPAA.
