Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking Behavior Technicians to provide 1:1 behavior intervention in home settings for individuals on the autism spectrum and with other behavioral needs. Training is provided, and positions include part-time and full-time options.

Competitive pay with weekly paychecks, benefits eligibility, and ongoing supervision from a BCBA are offered. Prior caregiving or DSP experience is welcome, with comprehensive program support available.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with individuals with special needs.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in educational or healthcare settings preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with individuals with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
• CPI/RBT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services.
• Assist with daily programs in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, and motor areas.
• Assist with personal care activities (bathing, dressing, meals, etc.).
• Collect and document data per the Behavior Support Plan.
