Job summary

Trellis Services is hiring one-on-one instructors to work with children and adolescents (ages 10 to 21) with autism in their homes and in the community. This part-time position (4 to 40 hours per week—afternoons, evenings and weekends) offers flexible hours, competitive pay and a path to our 401K program.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Minimum 100 hours of experience with individuals with developmental delays.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver''s license with current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support with community independence, daily living and recreation/leisure.
• Flexible schedules; afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
• Opportunities available throughout Maryland including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard and Talbot counties.
• Ability to advance into other roles at Trellis.
• Great foundation for a career in special education and related fields.
