Job summary

Trellis Services is hiring part-time one-on-one instructors to work with children and adolescents with autism in their homes and in the community. The Westminster—Carroll County area is targeted with flexible afternoons, evenings and weekend shifts and $19/hr compensation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Minimum 100 hours of working/volunteer/personal experience with individuals with developmental delays.
• Reliable transportation/Valid Driver's License/Current Auto Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support with community independence, daily living and recreation/leisure.
• Flexible schedules; afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
• Opportunities available throughout Maryland including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard and Talbot counties.
• Ability to advance into other roles at Trellis.
• Great foundation for a career in special education and related fields.
