Job summary

Trellis Services is hiring one-on-one instructors to work with children and adolescents (ages 10 to 21) with autism in their homes and in the community. This part-time position (4 to 40 hours per week-afternoons, evenings and weekends) is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference in the life of a child! Flexible hours, great pay ($19/hr), Maryland paid sick time and participation in our 401K plan! IMMEDIATE OPENING IN EASTON--TALBOT CO!

MUST HAVE A DRIVERS LICENSE AND AUTO INSURANCE

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• The ability to pass a State/Federal background check.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Minimum of 100 hours of working/volunteer or personal experience with individuals with developmental delays.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support with community independence, daily living and recreation/leisure.
• Flexible schedules; afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
• Opportunities available throughout Maryland including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Cecil, Harford, Howard and Talbot counties.
• Ability to advance into other roles at Trellis.
• Great foundation for a career in special education and related fields.
