Job summary

Trellis Services is hiring one-on-one instructors to work with children and adolescents with autism in their homes and in the community. This part-time position (4 to 40 hours per week-afternoons, evenings and weekends) offers flexible hours, $19/hr pay and participation in a 401K plan.

This role provides valuable experience in special education and a strong resume builder. As an instructor, you will work under the supervision of a Case Manager and gain experience using Applied Behavior Analysis

Qualifications

• Meet the minimum age requirement of 18.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• The ability to pass a background check.
• Minimum 100 hours of working/volunteer/personal experience with individuals with developmental delays.
• Reliable transportation/Valid Driver's License/Current Auto Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support with community independence, daily living and recreation/leisure.
• Flexible schedules; afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
• Opportunities available throughout Maryland including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard and Talbot counties.
• Ability to advance into other roles at Trellis.
• Great foundation for a career in special education and related fields.
