Job summary

Trellis Services is hiring one-on-one instructors to work with children and adolescents (ages 10 to 21) with autism in their homes and in the community. This part-time position (4 to 40 hours per week-afternoons, evenings and weekends) is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference in the life of a child!

Flexible hours, great pay ($19/hr) and participation in our 401K plan! Great entry level positon and resume builder for someone looking to start their career in Special Education!

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Minimum 100 hours of working/volunteer/personal experience with individuals with developmental delays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support with community independence, daily living and recreation/leisure.
• Flexible schedules with afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
• Opportunities across Maryland, including multiple counties.
• Opportunity to advance into other Trellis roles.
• Build a foundation for a career in special education.
