Job summary

K&A Appliance is hiring a full-time Appliance Service Technician to service customers’ homes from our Exton, PA location. You will diagnose and repair major household appliances, assist with warehouse repairs, and handle invoices and payments for completed service calls.

Responsibilities include maintaining the service van, stocking parts, and coordinating with the Service Coordinator. Requires 3+ years’ experience and a valid driver’s license; typical hours are Mon–Fri 7am–5:30pm, with

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience servicing major household appliances.
• Clean and valid driver’s license.
• Lift up to 50 lbs on own (with assistance as needed).
• Proficient in connecting water and gas lines and checking for leaks.
• Provide excellent service and customer care during in-home visits.
• Mechanical skills and willingness to learn new things.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair major household appliances in customers’ homes.
• Assist with service repairs in warehouse when needed.
• Prepare invoices and collect payments from customers for completed work and parts/labor.
• Maintain the service van and keep it stocked with parts.
• Communicate with Service Coordinator regarding calls and issues.
• Hours are Monday–Friday 7am to 5:30pm; 40–50 hours weekly.
