Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Bodewell Appliance Care Technician on Long Island, NY. You will diagnose and complete in‑home repairs on major GE appliances, deciding whether to repair or replace based on cost and customer needs, and you will promote service plans and related products.

You will operate a company van, document work, participate in training, manage inventory, and ensure high customer satisfaction while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 1+ years appliance repair experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check, drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in‑home repairs on GE Appliances' major appliances.
• Advise clients on repair vs replacement based on cost-effectiveness and needs.
• Promote and sell service contracts, water filters, and related products.
• Operate an assigned Bodewell service van to customer locations.
• Document repairs, routes and work activities accurately.
• Participate in training sessions and team events to stay current.
• Manage inventory and maintenance of the service vehicle.
• Deliver high‑quality service and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Follow all safety protocols to protect yourself and others.
