You will balance repair vs replacement decisions, promote service contracts, and drive customer satisfaction while operating a company van and maintaining service documentation.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• 1+ years of appliance repair or related field experience.
• Ability/experience diagnosing and repairing major appliances.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication.
• Basic computer skills including Outlook and Teams.
• Flexible schedule with some Saturdays as needed.
• Valid state driver’s license; pass background check, physical, and drug screen.
• Must obtain CFC Certification within 6 months.
• Wear uniform; maintain GE Appliances values.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs of GE Appliances’ major products.
• Assess repair vs replacement based on cost-effectiveness and customer needs.
• Promote and sell service contracts and related products.
• Operate assigned service van to customer locations.
• Document repairs, routes, and work activities accurately.
• Participate in training, meetings, and events to stay industry informed.
• Maintain inventory and upkeep of your service vehicle.
• Deliver high-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.
