Job summary

BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking a 1:1 in-home ABA paraprofessional in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports children with autism in their homes during afternoon and evening hours, delivering play-based ABA as designed by a BCBA and helping develop daily living skills and communication.

You’ll partner with families, maintain consistent sessions, and track progress using a simple data app. Prior para experience is helpful; transportation and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or caregiver).
• ABA experience is a plus.
• Afternoon/evening availability.
• Reliable transportation and background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using ABA techniques.
• Follow treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
• Track progress during sessions using a data system on your phone or tablet (training provided).
• Team with your BCBA and fellow techs to stay consistent and effective.
• Give feedback to families about session progress and celebrate small wins.
