Job summary

BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking a 1:1 paraprofessional to support a 12-year-old boy with autism in his Phoenix home. Flexible part-time afternoon/evening hours, Mon-Fri 10:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a focus on play-based ABA and daily living skills.

You will work closely with a BCBA, follow step-by-step plans, track progress with a mobile data system, and communicate with families. Prior SPED or caregiving experience is helpful; background check required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide) is helpful.
• ABA experience is a plus.
• Afternoon/evening availability, weekends a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA support in a child’s home to build daily living skills and independence.
• Follow treatment plans created by a BCBA supervisor.
• Record progress using a data system on a phone or tablet and report results.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and fellow paraprofessionals to ensure consistent sessions.
