Job summary

Easter Seals Southern California, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Interventionist to provide in-home ABA therapy for children on the autism spectrum. You will deliver sessions during afternoons and early evenings, with Saturday availability, and work closely with families to implement behavior plans.

Ideal candidates have prior experience with children or special needs, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass screenings. Training and clear career paths are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or people with special needs is preferred.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, auto registration and insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Immunization records and TB test must be provided.
• Able to participate in initial 2-week training (M-F, ~35 hours).
• Position requires lifting and moving materials during home visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home ABA-based therapy sessions to children on the autism spectrum.
• Observe, assess and interact with participants during visits.
• Support families with behavior intervention strategies and progress reporting.
