Job summary

Easter Seals Southern California, Inc. is seeking compassionate Behavior Interventionists to deliver in-home ABA-based therapy to children on the autism spectrum.

The role focuses on afternoons and some Saturdays, helping families apply proven behavioral strategies and track progress. Candidates should have prior experience with children or people with special needs, own reliable transportation, and be available for a two-week training period.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or people with special needs.
• Available to work afternoons/early evenings and some weekend mornings.
• Must have own reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, auto registration and auto insurance.
• Proof of immunization records and TB.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Available for initial 2-week training (M-F, about 35 hours).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home, ABA-based therapy sessions to children on the autism spectrum.
• Observe, assess, and interact with participants during home visits.
• Assist with lifting, carrying, and arranging toys/materials for sessions.
• Participate in ongoing training and follow defined career paths.
