Job summary

Easterseals Southern California is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide clinic and home-based ABA therapy to clients with autism and challenging behaviors. You will work in center, home, or community settings with a 2:1 staff-to-participant ratio and coordinate with families and the clinical team.

This role requires data collection, treatment fidelity, and collaboration with BCBAs; training in Crisis Management and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Crisis Management Training (MCPP) Intermediate and Advanced required; training provided during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Supports participants with autism and severe behaviors in center, home, or community.
• Collects data about participant behavior during sessions.
• Assists BCBAs with assessments and skill plans; may help with analyses.
• Teaches socially appropriate behaviors per treatment plans.
• Communicates results to caregivers and treatment teams daily.
• Sessions run 3–4 hours, Mon–Fri; prepare and complete notes and reports.
• Participates in caregiver training and weekly team meetings.
• Maintains treatment integrity and confidentiality.
