Job summary

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center in Menifee, CA is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes, supporting children with autism and developmental disabilities.

You'll receive paid training, clinical guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth while helping kids build communication, social, and daily living skills. Afternoon/evening sessions and a 15+ hour/week schedule are required. Travel up to 25 miles may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with children is a plus but not required.
• Available a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Afternoon/evening availability 1:00 PM–8:00 PM.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance/registration.
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles for client sessions.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable data collection and behavior intervention techniques.
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce challenging behaviors using evidence-based strategies.
• Collect session data and complete clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians to support client progress.
• Communicate professionally with families and caregivers.
• Attend ongoing training and team meetings.
