Job summary

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center in Menifee, CA is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes. You will support individualized goals in communication, social interaction, and daily living, under BCBA supervision, with paid training and ongoing clinical guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with children is a plus, but not required.
• Available a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and registration.
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles from home for client sessions.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable learning data collection and behavior intervention techniques.
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one ABA therapy in clients' homes
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, play, self‑help, and daily living skills
• Help reduce challenging behaviors using positive, evidence‑based strategies
• Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians to support client progress
• Communicate professionally with families and caregivers
• Attend ongoing training and team meetings
