New Patterns ABA VA in Richmond, VA is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to provide 1:1 ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized treatment plans, collect data on progress and behaviors, and support families in-home and in community settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current RBT certification through the BACB is preferred.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Experience with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Flexibility, empathy, patience, and a client-centered approach are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in-home and community-based settings.
• Implement ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors.
• Assist in developing behavior intervention strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain a positive and supportive relationship with clients and their families.
• Adhere to BACB ethical guidelines and standards.
