New Patterns ABA VA is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our Richmond team. Under supervision of a BCBA, you will implement individualized ABA plans, provide 1:1 therapy in home and community settings, and collect progress data.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, RBT certification (preferred), reliable transportation, and experience with autism. Excellent communication, empathy, and time management are essential to support clients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current RBT certification through the BACB (preferred)
• Reliable transportation
• Previous experience with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Flexibility, empathy, patience, solution-oriented, client-centered approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds
• Strong organizational skills and time management

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 therapy to clients in-home and community-based settings
• Implementing individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA
• Collecting and recording data on client progress and behaviors
• Assisting in development of behavior intervention strategies
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions
• Maintaining a positive and supportive relationship with clients and their families
• Adhering to BACB ethics guidelines and standards
