Job summary

New Patterns ABA VA in Richmond, VA is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in-home and in community settings under BCBA supervision.

You will implement individualized treatment plans, collect data on progress and behaviors, and participate in team meetings and training to support clients and families with a compassionate, client-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Previous experience with autism/developmental disabilities preferred.
• Flexibility, empathy, patience, and client-centered approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse individuals.
• Strong organizational skills and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in-home and community-based settings.
• Implement ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors.
• Assist in development of behavior intervention strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain a positive, supportive relationship with clients and families.
