Job summary

Maxim Healthcare offers ABA therapy roles to empower children and young adults with autism and related developmental needs in homes and schools around Los Angeles. The position is part-time and emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork with BCBA supervision, and real progress for families.

You will document progress with a mobile app, implement individualized behavior plans, and contribute to family support while training is provided and scheduling remains flexible for student or family

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with Special Needs
• Strong Communication Skills
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required/ College Education
• Minimum of One (1) Year relevant experience preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification or Willingness to obtain one
• Computer proficiency Required
• A Big Heart, patience, and the ability to keep up with energetic kiddos!

Responsibilities

• Help Kids Learn and Grow: Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Always Stay Active: Implement goals and programs in the individualized Behavior Plan designed by our Board-Ccertified Behavior Analysts.
• Keep Things Organized: Document kiddos’ progress and milestones using a mobile application while following Behavior Plans, objectives, and instruction from the BCBA/Program supervisor.
• Consistent Work Setting: You’ll primarily provide services in client’s homes, with some sessions held in local schools depending on our client’s needs.
• Support Families: Be part of a team that helps families see real progress and hope through providing true behavior support services and crisis intervention.
