Job summary

A Better Way ABA in Yonkers, NY is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) to provide in-home ABA therapy to children with autism under supervision of a BCBA/LBA. You will collect data, implement behavior plans, maintain notes, and collaborate with the therapy team and families.

Immediate start after school and weekend availability preferred; most sessions begin after 3 PM. This role suits compassionate, dedicated individuals who want to make a positive impact on children's lives and enjoy

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 1 year working with children or in a related field.
• Relevant roles include: Paraprofessional, Special Education Assistant, RBT, ABA Therapist.

• Collect accurate data during sessions to monitor client progress.

BTs work directly with individuals with Autism and related behavioral challenges, implementing behavioral services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Job Requirements

Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent

Work Schedule

Part-time: 15–30 hours per week

Must be available after school hours and/or weekends

Most sessions begin after 3:00 PM

Immediate start available in North Yonkers 4:30pm to 7:30pm and 5 hours on weekends.

20 Hours a week.
