Job summary

A Better Way ABA is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to deliver in-home ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA/LBA. You will implement behavioral plans, collect data, and maintain sessions notes to support child progress.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of relevant experience, a high school diploma, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to HIPAA confidentiality, with availability after school or on weekends.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

BTs work directly with individuals with Autism and related behavioral challenges, implementing behavioral services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Job Requirements

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: At least 1 year working with children or in a related field
• Related roles include: Paraprofessional, Special Education Teacher/Assistant, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Autism Aide, ABA Therapist, Childcare Specialist, Daycare Worker, Direct Care Worker, etc.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA confidentiality laws

Work Schedule

• Part-time: 15–30 hours per week
• Must be available after school hours and/or weekends
• Most sessions begin after 3:00 PM
• Immediate start available in Oceanside 4-7pm
• Immediate start available in Corona 4-7pm
• Immediate start available in Crown Heights 3-9pm
