Job summary

Apploi seeks a part-time Behavior Technician to deliver in-home ABA therapy for children with autism, under BCBA supervision. You will collect data, maintain records, and collaborate with families and the therapy team to monitor progress.

Flexibility to work after school and weekends, with sign-on bonus opportunities and openings across several boroughs. Prior related experience and HIPAA knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 1 year working with children or in a related field.
• Related roles include: Paraprofessional, Special Education Teacher/Assistant, RBT, Autism Aide, ABA Therapist, Childcare Specialist, Daycare Worker, Direct Care Worker, etc.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA confidentiality laws.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children with autism.
• Implement behavioral plans developed by a BCBA/LBA.
• Collect accurate data during sessions to monitor client progress.
• Maintain detailed session notes and records.
• Collaborate with the therapy team (BCBAs, other BTs, and parents/guardians).
• Respond promptly to client, family, and supervisor needs.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with families and supervisors.

We are seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

BTs work directly with individuals with Autism and related behavioral challenges, implementing behavioral services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Work Schedule

• Part-time: 15–30 hours per week
• Must be available after school hours and/or weekends
• Most sessions begin after 3:00 PM
• Immediate start available in Oceanside 4-7pm
• Immediate start available in Corona 4-7pm
• Immediate start available in Crown Heights 3-9pm
