Job summary

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center in Gardena, CA is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children in their homes, delivering ABA therapy under supervision. This role offers paid RBT training, clinical mentorship, and flexible scheduling to fit family needs.

Ideal candidates are reliable, have strong communication skills, and are committed to helping children develop essential life skills and independence through evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with children is a plus, but not required.
• Available a minimum of 15 hours per week; afternoon/evening availability.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in client’s homes.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce challenging behaviors using positive, evidence-based strategies.
• Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians to support client progress.
• Communicate professionally with families and caregivers.
• Attend ongoing training and team meetings.
