Job summary

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center in Highland Park, CA is seeking a motivated Behavior Technician to join our in-home ABA therapy program. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing ABA strategies under BCBA supervision, and participate in paid training and ongoing clinical support.

Flexible afternoon/evening hours, paid RBT and clinical training, and opportunities for advancement are offered to help you grow in behavioral health. Prior experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Experience working with children is a plus, but not required.
• Available a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and registration.
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles from your home for client sessions.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable learning data collection and behavior intervention techniques.
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills
• Help reduce challenging behaviors using positive, evidence-based strategies
• Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians to support client progress
• Communicate professionally with families and caregivers
• Attend ongoing training and team meetings
