Job summary

May Institute is seeking Behavior Monitors to support families in South Plymouth and Brockton, MA with in-home services. Positions include evening and weekend hours, both full-time and part-time, travel within a 30-minute radius, and direct work with children and caregivers to apply ABA-based strategies.

Responsibilities include conducting FBAs, creating BSPs, monitoring progress, and coordinating with the Behavior Consultant. A valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in a related field.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with 1+ year of driving experience; reliable transportation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Experience with social/emotional disabilities preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wrap-around team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs, develop individualized BSPs, and monitor progress to guide treatment.
• Coach families/caregivers in implementing behavior strategies at home.
• Provide structured skill-building sessions and support reduction of challenging behaviors.
• Ensure safety, health, and daily well-being of youth in care.
• Observe, collect, and report behavioral data; implement treatment procedures as outlined.
• Coordinate care and maintain communication with the Behavior Consultant and other providers.
