Newrest is seeking a Cook to join our in-flight catering operations. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals that meet strict standards, keeping the kitchen organized, and supporting production from prep to service.

The role emphasizes growth from within, with opportunities to advance to roles such as Cook Lead or Sous chef as part of our career progression. A collaborative kitchen environment and a commitment to culinary excellence define this position.

Formación

• At least two years of experience cooking in a restaurant or catering business.
• English literacy required to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of HACCP is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare meats, fish, pasta, side dishes, and garnishes following recipes.
• Prep, cook, clean up and organize the kitchen area and complete pre-production.
• Follow the prep lists created by chefs and ensure timely service.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen personnel and other unit departments.
