The role requires reading and speaking English, basic math, ability to work under pressure, and a strong commitment to hygiene and safety standards such as HACCP and USDA guidelines. Prior experience in large commercial kitchens is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English and have basic math skills.
• Must interpret and comprehend Menu Specifications.
• Must walk/stoop/bend/stand for a full shift.
• Must prepare stocks, sauces and food items using standard recipes.
• Knowledge of knives and cutlery and their uses; good knife skills.
• Experience in large commercial kitchens is a plus.
• HACCP and USDA food safety knowledge and compliance.
• Professional appearance and attitude; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot food items for domestic flights.
• Cook from raw to finished state, in line with schedules.
• Ensure all meals meet airline specifications and quality standards.
• Follow FDA and HACCP food handling standards.
• Assist with menu presentation and food production activities.
• Perform related duties as required.
