Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Starlink Aviation Specialist to monitor performance of Starlink systems on various airframes and platforms, addressing issues and coordinating with design, test, and manufacturing teams. You will manage aviation installations, assure product lifecycle, and improve customer processes for field deployments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of professional work experience in information technology, aviation, aerospace, consumer electronics, or technical support or a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• 2+ years of experience working with technical documentation, engineering drawings, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary SpaceX technical focal point for Starlink Aviation, interfacing with airline/customer operations point-of-contact.
• Develop and document procedures to train internal on-call operators for customer support, remote troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Own external-facing certification and airline contractual deliverables in support of troubleshooting and maintenance of Starlink Aviation systems.
• Coordinate and support Starlink Aviation installations and provisioning to the network.
• Build, test, and maintain representative ground test setups to reproduce field issues and aid in root-cause issues.
• Provide hands‑on support for site surveys for new product development and hardware investigations in the field.
• Monitor fleet health and take ownership of the overall performance of the installed fleet, coordinating with software, network, and aircraft technicians to resolve issues that are impacting service level in an expedited manner.
