Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Aviation Development Engineer to lead the Starlink service launch with airline partners, defining processes, milestones, and technical documentation to ensure certification and deployment.

You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and passenger experience teams across partners to align with business goals, timelines, and regulatory requirements while delivering results with high integrity.

Qualifications

• Ability to navigate complex technical programs with aerospace manufacturers from ideation to roll-out.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and approvals process for aerospace programs.
• Strong documentation and communication skills across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the technical engagement and successful Starlink service launch with airline partners.
• Establish and maintain program governance with timely reporting to teams and SpaceX leadership.
• Lead reviews, coordination meetings, and workshops with stakeholders, customers, airframe manufacturers, and partners.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable technical and operational plans.
• Prepare artifacts for licenses, type approvals, and regulatory audits.
