Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Aviation Development Engineer (STARLINK) to lead the service launch with airline partners. You will define processes, milestones, and compliance requirements, aligning engineering, maintenance and passenger experience teams to meet critical timelines.

In this role you will engage customers during pre-sales, manage government/regulatory interactions, and produce documentation across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• 1+ years of experience in engineering or technical program/product management bringing a service/product to market.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience navigating aerospace programs and coordinating with airframe manufacturers and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and successful Starlink service launch with airline partners.
• Establish program governance and deliver accurate reporting to customers and SpaceX leadership.
• Lead reviews, coordination meetings, and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable technical and operational plans.
• Coordinate artifacts for licenses, type approvals, and regulatory audits.
