DCC Elgin in Elgin, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our in-center team. You will set up dialysis machines, monitor treatments, record vital signs, assist with cannulation where allowed, and help ensure patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, current CCHT or state certification, and CPR. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected; travel is not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current CCHT or state-required certification.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Enter prescribed treatment into dialysis machine and set up/takedown equipment.
• Monitor vital signs and document vitals during and after dialysis.
• Perform vascular access evaluation pre-treatment and cannulation as allowed.
• Report abnormal findings to RN immediately.
• Maintain safety and infection control protocols.
