Dialysis Care Center in Chicago Heights, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician for in-center care. The role operates under RN supervision, supports dialysis machines setup, monitoring, and patient safety, and contributes to clinical excellence and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, cannulation or catheter care as allowed, data entry, training staff, and participation in training modules.

Qualificações

• Must possess a minimum of High School diploma or GED.
• Current CCHT, Bonent or State required certificate if experienced.
• CCHT, Bonent or State required certificate within 18 months per CMS regulations.
• Current CPR card if experienced or within 3 weeks of hire date.

Responsabilidades

• Entering prescribed treatment into the dialysis machine, setting up dialysis machines, and recording.
• Monitors vital signs during treatment and documents vitals.
• Perform cannulation of vascular access or catheter care as allowed by state law.
• Assist in training direct patient care staff under RN supervision.
• Notify RN of missed or shortened treatments and participate in intervention initiatives.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and quality standards.
