Job summary

Home Dialysis Services & Dialysis Care Center, LLC (HDS/DCC) in Elgin, IL is hiring a Patient Care Tech for in-center hemodialysis. You will assist nursing staff, operate dialysis machines, monitor patient vitals, and ensure safety and quality care during treatment.

The role demands attention to infection control, data entry, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced facility. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current CCHT, Bonent or state-required certification.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescribed treatment into dialysis machine and set up/dismantle equipment.
• Monitor dialysis machines and RO water system; respond to alarms.
• Record vitals pre, during, and post dialysis on the Hemodialysis Treatment Record.
• Perform vascular access evaluation and report findings to RN.
• Cannulate vascular access or catheter care as allowed by state law.
• Collect samples and prepare for shipping; report abnormal findings to RN.
