Job summary

MCA, Mobile Communications America, Inc., seeks a DAS Technician in Schaumburg, IL to support the In-Building Wireless Solutions team. The role focuses on installing and maintaining DAS components in commercial settings, emphasizing safety and quality.

You will work with multiple cable types, tools, and field staff, traveling as needed to meet project schedules and KPI targets, with first shift hours and potential second/third shifts depending on project demand.

Qualifications

• 1 year of technical experience or a combination of related education/experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/schematics.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and adapt to project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency during installation of project-specific components per standards.
• Assist in installing and supporting coaxial, fiber, Cat 5/6 in various environments.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely and professionally on site.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and protect customer confidence with quality work.
• Oversee health and performance of DAS systems to meet KPI and SLA targets.
• Receive and resolve DAS-related tickets and coordinate with carriers/OEMs as needed.
