Job summary

Mobile Communications America in Knoxville, TN is seeking an experienced DAS Technician to support the In-Building Wireless Solutions (IWS) team in our Data division. This full-time role involves installing project-specific components, wiring diverse cabling, and maintaining safe work areas at various venues.

You should have roughly 1 year of technical experience, the ability to read schematics, and a reliable, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

1 year of technical experience or related education/experience.
Willingness to learn new technology and read plans/bills of material.
Hands-on experience with project-specific OEMs.
Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to technologies in public safety and wireless communications.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings/schematics.
Strong communication and reliability in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Demonstrating proficiency during installation of project-specific components and equipment to standards.
Assist in installing and supporting various cable types (coaxial, fiber, Cat 5/6, etc.).
Demonstrate use of basic hand and power tools.
Work professionally at all job sites and maintain safety.
Assist in installations across diverse buildings (stadiums, hospitals, schools, offices, multi-family homes).
Maintain a safe, clean work area and orderly tools.
Maintain customer confidence by delivering outstanding work.
