Job summary

Mobile Communications America, Inc. seeks a DAS Technician to join the In-Building Wireless Solutions team in Morrisville, NC. You will support Lead Technicians, install and configure DAS hardware, and ensure optimal wireless coverage for projects across various buildings. PPE and safety guidelines apply.

The role requires at least 1 year of technical experience, comfort with flexible shifts, and strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members on-site.

Qualifications

• 1 year of technical experience or a combination of related education/experience.
• Willingness to learn new technologies in public safety and wireless communications and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand design plans and bills of material.
• Hands-on experience with project-specific OEMs.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, establish priorities, work independently as part of a team, with some supervision.
• Hands-on experience with using a PPC connector tool for installing 1/2" coax connectors.
• Lead technical background.
• Must be able to interact and communicate professionally.
• Proven track record of reliability, integrity, and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Technicians during projects with duties listed: installation of RF Cellular and Public Safety BDA DAS equipment, antennas, cabling, amplifiers, and related hardware.
• Configure DAS components to optimize wireless coverage and capacity.
• Demonstrate proficiency and quality during installation tasks per manufacturer and company standards.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure DAS systems reliability and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems with DAS equipment and networks.
• Provide technical support to customers, end-users, and stakeholders.
• Assist in completing installations across diverse buildings.
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Maintain customer confidence by performing outstanding work.
