Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Retail Banker to engage customers, open and maintain accounts, and promote bank products that meet customer needs. You will receive training to excel in customer service and sales across branches.

The role emphasizes proactive relationship building, accurate cash handling, and adherence to Woodforest’s service standards to drive growth and community impact.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience or an Associate’s degree plus 1 year of experience or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous in-store banking experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be positive and engaging.

Responsibilities

• Achieve individual sales by identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services.
• Process transactions, open accounts, and perform account maintenance.
• Handle branch servicing duties such as vault balancing and cash ordering.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns per Woodforest training.
