Job summary

WesBanco in Marietta, OH seeks a Customer Service Advisor to deliver exceptional service, identify sales opportunities, and process banking transactions. The role focuses on opening deposit accounts, handling cash, and building consumer and business relationships by promoting bank products and services.

You will engage in outbound onboarding, prospect new Retail customers, and refer clients to internal and external partners.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one year of banking experience preferred.
Minimum of three years of cash handling, sales and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Models the Bank's Mission, Vision, and Pledge.
Assess customers' financial needs and refer to business partners.
Process all financial service transactions accurately.
Open new deposit accounts and balance cash drawer.
Comply with security and audit procedures.
Achieve production and referral goals through customer contact and onboarding calls.
Promote bank products and refer customers to partners.
Communicate with branch staff to promote teamwork and meet goals.
Initiate outbound calls for customer onboarding and prospecting.
Support day-to-day operations including vault duties and cash controls.
Attend regular staff meetings and provide service on banking matters.
